Although we were hidden by the hedges and partially hidden by the car, we were in full view of anyone coming up to the open gate. “Nothing at all” I said, and seeing the chance to have my way even more than usual calmly said “Why don’t you drive us there today-then tomorrow when we come back I’ll drive like usual so you can have a drink?” I could see she was surprised I caved so early, she cocked her head to one side “You mean it no messing about?”
